Mary Bruce Joins JetCo Federal as Logistics Manager

Mary Bruce joins the JetCo Federal team as a Logistics Manager. In this role, she coordinates logistics for deliveries, manages broker relationships, and supports our quality management systems.

Mary brings with her over 20 years of management, logistics, and freight brokerage experience. In her most recent position, Mary was a broker for a nationally recognized truckload carrier. She is a Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) and has held several positions in logistics and operations management.

Paul Laidler Joins JetCo Federal as Director of Operations

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH (October 28, 2021) JetCo Federal, a Grand Rapids-based supply chain management and logistics company, welcomed a new team member this month.

Paul Laidler joins the JetCo Federal team as Director of Operations. In this role, he leads strategic planning, business development, and management of the company’s day-to-day operations. 

Laidler brings with him extensive experience in the logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing industries. In his most recent position, he served as assistant plant manager and process engineer for a contract manufacturer of machined, painted, and illuminated components for the aerospace, military, and automotive industries.

Laidler is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.

JetCo Federal Adds Director of Administration to Team

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH (December 21, 2020) – JetCo Federal, a Grand Rapids-based logistics and procurement company, added a full-time employee to their team this month.

Lisa Young joins the JetCo Federal team as the Director of Administration. In this role, she leads the organization’s human resources, facility management, payroll, and general administration.

Young brings over 22 years of public relations and marketing experience to her role at JetCo Federal and has extensive experience leading and managing teams.

Prior to her role at JetCo Federal, Young worked for a niche publisher and full-service marketing firm where she managed a team of professionals to deliver services to small businesses and associations in the tour and travel, education, and legal industries.

As a new member of the JetCo Federal team, Young stated that she is looking forward to “working with wicked smart people who savor challenges at a company that is on an amazing growth trajectory.”

JetCo Federal Adds Digital Marketing Specialist to Team

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH (October 6, 2020) — JetCo Federal, a Grand Rapids-based supply chain management and warehouse supply company, added a full-time employee to their team this month.

Carly Contreras joins the JetCo Federal team as a Digital Marketing Specialist. In this role, she manages JetCo Federal’s website, social media, blog, and digital media campaigns. Contreras is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Public Relations.

Prior to joining the JetCo Federal team, Contreras was a Marketing and Database Intern at Experience Grand Rapids and an Advertising Intern at Campus View Housing, gaining over two years of marketing experience.

Contreras stated, “I could not be more excited to put my knowledge and experience to use in a new industry. Digital marketing has a large impact on every business, especially in the government contracting space. I look forward to working with such a hard-working and dedicated team!”

Ben Hawksford New Hire

JetCo Federal Adds Account Coordinator to Team

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH (July 10, 2020) — JetCo Federal, a Grand Rapids-based supply chain management and warehouse supply company, added a full-time employee to their team this month.

Ben Hawksford joins JetCo Federal as an Account Coordinator. In this role, he manages JetCo Federal’s current contracts, order fulfillment, compliance, and customer relations. Hawksford is a graduate of the University of Michigan – Dearborn and has extensive experience in the packaging industry.

Prior to joining the JetCo Federal team, Hawksford worked as an Inside Sales Account Manager at a West Michigan corrugated packaging company. Hawksford stated that he looks forward to, “learning how to successfully manage current and future supply chain business, and to playing a role in JetCo Federal’s growth.”

JetCo Federal Expands Sales and Business Development Team

JetCo Federal, a Grand Rapids-based supply chain management and warehouse supply company, added two full-time employees to their team.

Erik Greene

Erik Greene joins JetCo Federal as the director of sales and marketing. In this role, he works with customers to identify and solve complex logistics and sourcing challenges throughout their supply chain. Prior to joining the JetCo Federal team, Greene worked as a marketing manager for a material processing company where he was responsible for strategy, channel management, and operations. Greene is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he received his master’s degree in Communications.

Johnny Schweir joins JetCo Federal as a capture specialist. In this role, he meets sales goals by supporting bid response efforts and finding new opportunities. Prior to joining the JetCo Federal team, Schweir worked as a buyer and manager at an outdoor equipment company. Schweir is a graduate of Anderson University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
