At JetCo Federal, we love to highlight our talented employees and the hard work they do every day. This time, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on Keoni Warrington, our Account Coordinator. He recently celebrated his two-year work anniversary and has a lot of exciting thoughts to share.
Keoni’s Everyday Functions and Background
As the Account Coordinator, Keoni spends his time working with shipments, processing customer sales orders, supporting the order process, and most importantly, always prioritizing customer satisfaction to ensure a smooth and positive experience. His previous experience is with Amazon and Fifth Wheel Freight, where he worked with the logistics and transportation departments and had a diverse set of clients coordinating freight options. He is a graduate of Grand Canyon University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Studies.
Favorite Memories at JetCo
Keoni loves it when the company has opportunities to engage in activities outside of work. The most memorable outing was last summer, when JetCo was able to play fowling – a mix of football and bowling. He enjoys being able to spend time with coworkers outside of the office and engage in a new environment. As a part of that, Keoni is a member of our Employee Action Committee, where he has an active and insightful role planning such events and encouraging engagement throughout the company.
Lessons Learned: What’s Important
When asked what lessons he’s learned while at JetCo, he says, “keeping good relationships with our suppliers makes all the difference!”. It’s as simple as that. JetCo prides itself on the relationships we have with suppliers, and Keoni plays an integral role in these connections.
A Journey of Projects and Passion
The most rewarding project for Keoni was being involved with a DLA recompete win. It’s a great feeling for Keoni to see regular wins come through from contracts using systems that he was involved with creating. He also enjoys spending time in the warehouse, giving a hand in physical order fulfillment when he can.
As he starts his journey into his third year at JetCo, he looks forward to the opportunities to further grow his skillset. JetCo Federal encourages all employees to participate in professional development opportunities, whether that be learning new skills and build their professional skillset or attending conferences and trainings.
Living Our Core Values: The Foundation of Everything We Do
JetCo Federal believes that our core values are an integral part of our culture and operations, shaping how we do business. When asked what core value he resonated with most, he picked Solve. Supply chain management and order fulfillment often come with difficult challenges as on a day-to-day basis. Keoni says, “every solve is a win, and I love to win”. As you can see, Keoni fits right in with our competitive attitude.
A Peek into Keoni’s Life Outside the Office
When Keoni isn’t fulfilling orders, you can find him cooking. Being able to cook for others is something Keoni loves to do. When we have events involving food in the office, Keoni is always the first to volunteer with his cooking skills (and trust us – we love it).
Keoni also recently got married to his partner, Jena. Friends and family from all over the country came to visit and be together for such a special moment – and we mean all over the country since Keoni is originally from Hawaii! Of course, he says his wife is his motivation to be the best version of himself every day.
Since joining our team, Keoni has been an integral part of our team, bringing dedication and a passion for growth. We’re proud of what he’s accomplished within the last two years and look forward to his continued impact in the coming years.
